Looks like I am long overdue for a school update! We are having a blast this year coupling our Classical Conversations group with our work at home. So many fun things we are learning! Blane is reading remarkably well and Gavin is beginning his Bob book readers and is starting to put pen to paper to create phonetically correct words. We have completed several read alouds that we could hardly put down including Stone Fox and Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. My favorite part of the school day is to hear Blane read us a story from his bible reader ~ then we all illustrate the story, write a summary, and add a picture of the story to our bible timeline. Second to that is our CC timeline which all three big kids love to sing to! And how cool it is that they are learning 161 points of history in the order that the events occured. I wish I had that span of history in my memory bank when I was their age! Here are several pictures from our school time!
